Pick up C.C. Sabathia?

A guy in my league just dropped C.C.W.T.F Sabathia. I have the highest waiver number, should I pick him up? His nightmarish beginning to the season can't continue, can it? I would be dropping Clay Buchholz.

Don't be intimidated by his numbers. C.C. Sabathia will come back from the slow start. He's either been playing teams that are hitting really well (Tigers) and the A's who he seems to always struggle with.





Many players and pitchers get slow starts and turn around quickly. It's gonna be so worth it at the end. Its a LONG season. 1 bad month won't continue for a talented pitcher like him.





I don't know about dropping Buckholz though. He may also turn things around. Who else do u have at pitching and who are your bench players?
Reply:cc is so so a player. cy young and all he is over rated. last year was a fluke and he will prove it this year. no way is he in that caliber. they will be all over him this year. velocity doesnt equal wins. dont pick him up unless you can sacrafise era for k's. He will get his strike outs but hell give up the long ball.
Reply:Yes, pick him up. Clay isn't worthy of a spot right now anyway. If you can get the defending Cy Young champ off the waiver wire, do so immediately.
