Please check my answers (c, c, a) I'll give you 10 points best answer...?

1. Do plants such as ferns need to break down glucose to obtain energy?

a. No, they absorb the sun's energy directly.

b. No, they absorb energy from the soil.

c. Yes, they make glucose and break it down to produce ATP.

d. No, they make glucose, but they don't break it down.

2. Which waste product does your respiratory system remove from your body?

a. urine

b. blood

c. oxygen

d. carbon dioxide

3. Which substances do plants produce as waste products?

a. carbon dioxide and oxygen

b. oxygen and urine

c. carbon dioxide and urine

d. carbon dioxide and uric acid

Please check my answers (c, c, a) I'll give you 10 points best answer...?
Yes, you are right, except for number 2

1. C is correct because ferns are plants with vascular system

2. D is correct because respiration is take in Oxygen and removing Carbon Dioxide

3. A just because plants do not produce urine or uric acid
Reply:The first one you have right.

The second one is carbon dioxide... you exhale CO2.

The third one you have right also. Plants take in carbon dioxide and give off oxygen (which is why they are so important for the environment!)
Reply:1. a

2. d
Reply:1.c

2.d

3.a
Reply:you have all right except 2, which is d, as your kidneys remove urine, and lungs remove CO2

for 3, you were right also, because plants produce oxygen as waste from photosynthesis, and plants also prooduce CO2 from respiration (as all living things respire, in order to grow, make use of food, etc.) however, over time, the amount of O2 builds up, as slightly more O2 produced is more than the CO2.

urine and uric acid both contain nitrogen, which is an essential element for good plant growth (so it is included in all plant fertilisers, hence NPK), so they do not porduce urine or uric acid.

therefore the answers are:

1.c.

2.d.

3.a.

hope this helps :D
Reply:1 = C

2= D

3 = D
