i have little/no experience with either. i do have a basic understanding of how computers software binary and scripting languages of all sorts work. certainly enough to build on. but im having trouble finding websites to teach me anytyhing other than html (succesfully) id like to make, at the moment games. thats it. nothing else. games. should istart with flash or c++? i have the neccasary software for both but again, icant find any good websites to educate me on making a GAME with either.
For a beginner what is best to make games with? flash or c/c+/c++?
You definitely want to start with flash, unless you want to do 3D based games.
Flash is great for most 2D based games, and it also has the advantage of being able to run on an web page as opposed to someone having to download and install/run your game.
Another nice thing about flash is that it will run on a Mac as well with the same file. (.swf)
I've included some links to some sites to get you started with flash game development. The forums on these sites are excellent resources for learning and asking questions. They also have loads of tutorials.

Reply:Flash is easiest. You need to find a few books on the subject in your library. Also, take a look at http://www.flashkit.com
Reply:Try Gamemaker. Although the name sounds childish, it offers powerful features and scripting. I know programmers who use this to get down to plain game design, instead of worrying about low level stuff, like redrawing the screen, sprites and the like. The standard version is free, more advanced features will set you back a mere $20. It's being used for remakes, indy development, and more. Fun to use.

Even if you don't want to use this, there's some good documentation available on game making:

If you want a more hands-on programming experience, you might have a go at BlitzMax or Dark basic:

One step further, is making use of a games development environment like:
http://www.garagegames.com/
Both 3d and 2d solutions, and expandable in C++.
All of these take out the low-level grunt out of programming games, and are very helpful. Of course, you might pick up a C++ compiler and a game programming library:

And lots of 3d engines:

For a list of game programming tools, both visual and otherwise, have a look at:

Lots of possibilities. Finally, if you want to get down to flash game programming, and the high price tag is a problem, why not download 3d Flash Animator: it provides for flash games programming and scripting for a paltry $49 bucks:
http://www.3dfa.com/
It might not be flash, but offers all sorts of 3d and effects (including scrolling and collision) that aren't really immediately possible in Flash without programming or external tools.

Hope this helps a bit!
CHeers!
Reply:FlashKit is for 2D (MSNMSGR.EXE) games alike.
GameCreators DarkBasic is best for 3D games.
DarkC# and DarkC++ are now built into DarkBasic Studio.
Reply:HELLO. I THINK PROBABLY THE FLASH . BECAUSE I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW WHAT C/C+/C++ IS.
