Please show work thanks a ton!
A. x^2 + 12x +C
B. x^2 - 5x + C
C. x^2+ 3/8x + C
Value of C that make Trinomial perfect square...Thanks you guys ROCK!?
(x+b)^2 = x^2 + 2*b*x + b^2.
Now you have to choose b such that it matches your equation.
1. 2* b = 12 =%26gt; b = 6
=%26gt; b^2 = 36
So your equation becomes
x^2 +12x + 36 = (x+6)^2
Similarly you can do for 2 and 3.
Reply:A. x^2 + 12x +C
C= (b/2)²
C = (12/2)² = 36
x² + 12x + 36 = (x+6)²
B. x^2 - 5x + C
C = (-5/2)² = 25/4
x² -5x + 25/4 = (x-5/2)²
C. x^2+ 3/8x + C
C = (3/8*1/2)² = 9/256
x^2+ 3/8x + 9/256 = (x+3/16)²
